             Market,   service and manage the Employee Benefits business to include group medical,   dental, life, short-term and long-term disability and long-term care   insurance.  
            Communicate and negotiate with carriers to obtain renewal quotes and prepare   spreadsheets in preparation for proposals. Present proposals to clients. Up   sell additional benefits to clients. 
            Responsibilities: 
            Customer Service  
            Manage enrollments, additions, deletions, claims and respond to coverage   questions 
            Meet with clients, present proposals, negotiate with carriers, close renewals   and up sell additional benefits.  
             
            Marketing and Re-marketing 
            Execute the marketing process by sending letters to begin renewal process 
            Collect employee census data and copies of current bills 
            Creating spreadsheets for renewals and new quotations 
            Prepare proposals and market comparisons upon renewal or when necessary or as   required by each Producer 
            Follow – up with carriers to insure timely handling 
            Review all quotes for accuracy 
            Prepare package for presentation to clients 
             
            Administration 
            Calculate and post monthly commissions 
            Run statements 
            Maintain data in benefit point system 
            Handle all enrollment forms for new and renewal business, handle billing and   claims, COBRA 
            Return telephone calls and emails to underwriters, producers and clients, and   account executives promptly with info requested

             3-5   years' group benefits experience, Agency background helpful 
            Must be licensed to sell group benefits in the state of Massachusetts. 
            Proficiency in the “Small Group” ACA Marketplace  
            • Proficient in (AMS) system 
            • Proficient in Internet use 
            • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook 
            • Expert level Excel skills 
            • Excellent written and oral, analytical and attention to detail skills 
            • Proven customer service skills 
            • Must be well organized, a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced,   high volume environment 
             
            Education: Assoc Degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree is ideal.
